Blogger Secret Santa Gift & Christmas Outfit!

This post is a little overdue, but better late than never!

I participated in Mary, my roommate, and Viktoria's blogger secret santa this year and it was so fun! I got these great earrings and scarf from Sarah of The House That Ag Built. The earrings were a bit out of my comfort zone since I usually stick to small earrings, but I really love them! They were the perfect final touch to my Christmas Day outfit. Funny story about this outfit: right after I put it on and was happy with it, I looked at the floor of my bedroom and saw the shirt I wore the day before...3/4 sleeve top from Forever 21 that's navy with yellow-green sleeves..the exact color of this sweater. I basically subconsciously copied the shirt I wore the day before. Hahah whoops. Oh well, I still like how it came out :)

Vest: Sears (randomly walked past it, and it was on sale for $7 or something like that..score!)

Sweater: Zara (probably more like "Zara" considering I bought it in Vietnam at a market)

Back to Basics

This outfit may not look like 'basics', but it's full of things that I know work on me...if that makes sense. From the boots to jeggings to the gray drapey tank to the turquoise jewelry, these are the things that I know that I can throw on and not have to change two million times. :) What are your 'basics'?

Nashville Outfit #3!

My last outfit from Nashville! Another hot day, hence the tank top. Boy, am I missing this weather right now. This has to be the most stubborn spring ever. This week is actually in the 50s...and that's really exciting so that's definitely saying something haha. And, weather rant over. Anyways, I have a love hate relationship with this tank top. It's really my fault, because it's a bit big because I got a medium thinking it would be cute and baggy but it's just wide and boxy(woah, run on sentence much?). Fail on my part. But I love the design and that it says "We are alive". So I belted it with this awesome red belt from H&M(which is also a bit big and I had to make an extra hole).
